In 2016 our Founder Douglas Kaplicky was granted an opportunity to wear multiple as a Nationally Recognized Educator, Inspiring Keynote Speaker, Consulting and NLP Mental Edge Coach.

Without question one of the most unique professional backgrounds you will find from working in professional sports marketing and psychology to a teacher, coach and school administrator.

He has constantly gives credit to the teams he is affiliated with like the great teachers, para-educators and parents.  He highlights school stakeholders for their unsung hero work in social-emotional learning, building a positive school culture and moving several schools to high level data performance.

He was humbled and honored to be named as a top high school teacher at the national level in 2003 and seven years later recognized as Regional School Principal of the Year in 2010. One year later, he was named Top 10 National Trailblazer in School Administration (NAESP) the following year. 

In 2017 in was named Regional and Washington State School Principal of the Year in 2017 (AWSP) and a National Top 10 finalist for POY / Digital Media POY. He continues to credit his amazing staff members and school stakeholders. In 2022, his staff, students and parents were named a Top Tier Outlier School for its Culture and Climate reports with CEE/ICYM. 

D.G. Kaplicky worked in professional sports marketing and sports psychology in the 1990's / early 2000's, but now he teams and partners with counselors to align sports professionals with mental edge coaching in 2024 (PGA, MLB, NHL Junior College and NCAA).

His personal life and passion includes his amazing college aged kids thriving in Engineering and Sports Medicine (#GoZags & #LancerUp). 

His love for sports, motivating ones human potential, relentless passion to self-improvement literature, serving others and has taken on a unleashed mania to finish writing a pair of books coming out in 2024.
